Boating Information

There are two quays on St Martin's Lower Town and Higher Town.

Our main boat service is now run by  St Mary's Boatmen's Association.   The scheduled boats are advertised on their website, alternatively our island website St Martin's Scilly  Notebooks with up to date information are on display at St Martin's Stores, the Sevenstones Pub, Karma Hotel and the campsite.

Scheduled boats depart St Martin's for St Mary's at 09:15/10:45/13:00/14:30 & 16:30 and scheduled boats from St Mary's to St Martin's at 08:45/10:15/12:30/14:00 & 16:00.  Please note there are no direct scheduled trips to Tresco, Brhyer & St Agnes, these are available from St Mary's usually at 10:15, however during the busier season direct boats to Tresco are usually available. Your ticket from St Martin's is £13.50 return for adults and £6.75 for children under 15 years of age. Please note the return ticket issued will include your trip to either Tresco, Bryher or St Agnes, therefore please make it clear which island you are wishing to visit in order for the boatman to issue the inter-island transfer ticket, which you will have to return on your journey back - keep it safe!!

Please note these times are a general guide and are subject to change depending on tides and weather, always check late afternoon the day before your travel to check times and which quay will be used.

An alternative to the scheduled boats above are;

Island Link Boating Services - Available for private hire, angling trips, specials, wildlife tours, uninhabited island trips, evening dinner boats.  Adam presently advertises trips on a weekly schedule displayed at Lower Town & Higher Town. Bookings are essential, telephone:  07379566248.

Seaquest - Glass Bottom Boat - Jo has extensive experience and knowledge of the waters, wildlife and history of both above and below the waves and offers wonderful trips throughout the Isles of Scilly.  A real must during your stay on the island. Jo advertises all trips, including direct trips to other islands via her website SEAQUEST and a large advertising board outside her home in Middle Town. Telephone: 07884055122.
